The Youth Bridge Foundation (YBF) has been selected as one of 15 youth-led organizations across Africa to receive a small grant of €2,000 from the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA). The Foundation was selected from 50 applicants who comprise the Youth Adaptation Network (YAN) across Africa.

The grant forms part of GCA’s efforts to empower African youth to lead climate adaptation action through a comprehensive initiative that blends training, online learning, and support for local replication. In partnership with Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), GCA is enabling youth organizations across 15 African countries to take adaptation training to their communities.
In October 2025, one of our in-country focal points for the YAN, Solomon Dodoo Attoh, participated in a regional training held in Kenya to build his capacity to replicate the training in Ghana with support from the YBF team and other key stakeholders in the climate space.
Through this support, YBF will replicate the adaptation and leadership training in Ghana, equipping young people with the knowledge and skills to drive innovative, community-based climate action. We look forward to deepening our work in climate adaptation and ensuring that youth voices and solutions are at the heart of climate resilience in Ghana.
