Promoting Inclusive Participation of Youth in Ghana’s Local Governance and Decision-Making Processes- Czech Republic and Youth Bridge Foundation Partner to Build Youth Capacity

In the wake of economic hardships, strengthening partnerships at the local level becomes even more critical to ensure that we remain focused in the building of the youth development agenda.

In collaboration with the Transitions Promotion Program of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Accra therefore, the Youth Bridge Foundation (YBF) is expanding the “Youth in Local Governance” project to the Northern and Western Regions of Ghana.

The partnership comes at a time where the world is building back better, thus the need to harness the prospects and potentials of the Youth as stakeholders whose participation is crucial.

From the 28th-29th of September 2022, the YBF development bus moves to the Northern Region for the first part of the project, which is a two-day session. Day one is a Training of Trainers (ToT) capacity building workshop while day two is a tour of the district assembly

The workshop is hosted by the Sagnarigu Municipal Assembly.
