A three (3) Member Team from SAP (Systems Application & Products), a German an International Consulting firm visited the Dakye Nsoroma Hub, at Agona in the Ahanta West District of the Western Region.
The team as part of their consultations with YBF extended a working visit to the Daakye Nsoroma Hub to familiarize themselves with the Integrated Youth Development (IYD) project and interact with key stakeholders and project beneficiaries.
The three namely; Bence Khoor (Hungry), Ilse Moret (Netherlands) and Susan St. Ores (United States of America) on arrival participated in the Fourth Quarter Project Advisory Committee Meeting and interacted with members of the committee and contributed to effective implementation of the next phase of the project.
As a part of the visit the team paid a courtesy call on the Ahanta West District Chief Executive, Hon. Joseph Dofoyena and other officials of the Assembly. In their discussion, the DCE appealed to the team to support in resuscitating the District’s ICT center and plans of the assembly for youth development.
The team aside touring some project communities such as Dixcove also visited and interacted with JHS students of Agona Model School as well as pupils from the Captain’s Schools all in the Ahanta West District.
Prior to their departure to Accra, the consultants met with Mr. Edmond Fiifi Enchil the Social Investments Coordinator of Tullow oil Ghana. Discussions with Mr. Enchil centered on the Cooperate Social Responsibility of the Tullow Oil Ghana and future collaborations as well as support for youth development.
